Joel Found is committed to operating a responsible, ethical and transparent business. We’re conscious that, by definition, travel means entering communities, environments and countries and we endeavour to be highly considered in our global outlook. We seek to develop and advocate for organisational policies and initiatives that are meaningful, deliverable, measurable and scalable.

To that end, we are focusing on three focus areas:

  1. Sustainability
  2. Impact
  3. Human Rights

It’s very difficult to travel globally without including flights in your plans. The carbon emissions associated with air travel significantly impact climate change and therefore it’s environmental consequences. Conscious that air travel is the most efficient form of transport for Joel Found, our goal is to address the carbon impact of our journeys.

Our carbon initiative will be in place by early 2023.

In planning global travel, we are highly conscious of JF’s impact and are dedicated to leaving a soft or beneficial mark on the places we go. Where possible, on many of our journey’s we include a community activity designed to engage our guests and give back to a local organisation. Where this is not possible, as part of all of our journeys we make a contribution to a local human rights or environmental advocacy organisation.

Community initiatives will be added to itineraries shortly.

Human Rights Initiative Coming Soon.
